SAS 70 Compliance or Statement on Auditing Standards - Service Organizations, was established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) in 1992 as a method of protecting the clients of outsourcing service vendors. The data center, processing facilities and control procedures in use by Lake Michigan Mailers have been examined by the independent service auditors of Scarpone & Co., P.C., Certified Public Accountants and Consultants and found to meet or exceed SAS 70 standards.
